I've claimed Huxley my home since 1959.

My wife Linda and I have raised our family here and now enjoy grandchildren.

I am the transportation Supervisor for Ballard Schools and Linda teaches at Ames.

I've been on the Department since 1992

Shane Lovig, FF/EMT-B

I was born and raised in Huxley to Al and Margo Lovig (thanks mom and dad!).

I graduated from Ballard in 2001 and joined the Department in 2002.

I have recieved several certifications including Firefighter I & II, and Instructor I. I look forward to providing the best care and service for the surrounding communities, visitors, and the citizens of Huxley.

EMS Deputy Chief David Roquet, FF/EMT-B

I have lived in Huxley since 2003 and joined the Department shortly after joining the Community.

My wife Christy and I have two children, Taylor and Cristian.

I work weekend package at Mercy Medical Center ER.

During the week I enjoy spending time with family and friends, training, playing hockey and golfing.

Seceretary Courtney Wearmouth, Firefighter

I graduated from Ogden in 1997.

I am currently a 2nd grade teacher at Ballard West, and coach Jr. High Cross Country.

I joined the Department in 2004 and currently hold certification for Firefighter I and Firefighter II.

Chad Lovig, Firefighter

I have lived in Huxley all of my life and graduated from Ballard in 1996.

I am a City of Ames Police Officer.

I am married to Jessica and have two boys- Carter and Haden.

Bill Hotchkiss, First Responder

I am married to Diane, we have 3 children, all married.

I have been employed by Huxley Communication since 1974 and have served as manager since 1980.

I have served on Huxley Fire and Rescue (EMS side) since 1984.

Joe Marchesano, Firefighter

I am currently a police officer for the City of Huxley, and joined the Department in late 2006.

I have a daughter, and I have been a City officer for 2 1/2 years and wanted to further serve my community.

Shaunna Robinson, FF/EMT-PS

I have lived in Huxley since 1998 and graduated from Ballard in 2006.

I was a Fire Department Explorer for 1 1/2 years prior to joining the department in 2006

Terri Doud, EMT-B

I am married to Doug and have 4 children, Jeremy, Jordan, Jarod and Gabie.

I have lived in the Huxley area for 6 years.

I became EMT-B certified in March of 2006 and Joined the Huxley Fire and Rescue Team in July of 2006.

I look forward to serving our community.
