3C's Closed

3C's will be closed on Sunday, March 23 in observance of Easter Sunday.

2008 Summer Kids Club

Registration will begin Monday, March 17 for our NEW and exciting summer kids club. Area youth ages 5-10 will take part in a fantastic schedule of activities, interactive presentations like Mad Science and Bugs in Agriculture, they'll catch the reading bug at the library, and have lots of other summer fun at the pool or in our city parks! Program begins Monday, June 2 and runs Monday through Friday until August 8 from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Don't miss out on being part of Huxley's newest summer experience!

New Weekend Hours!

Beginning Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30, we will roll out extended weekend hours. We will now be open from 7am to 8pm on Saturday and 9am to 7pm on Sundays through Memorial Day when we change to our summer hours.

Huxley Community Night at Principal Park

Join us, Tuesday, April 1 as we roadtrip to Des Moines and watch the Iowa Cubs take on the Iowa Hawkeyes in an exhibition baseball game at 6:05pm. Bus leaves from 3C's parking lot at 4:30pm and the cost is $13 which includes your reserved game ticket and drinks and snacks on the bus. Sign-up now at the front-desk as space is limited!

Part Time Positions Available

The Huxley Parks and Recreation Department is looking for staff for their Grins-N-Giggles child drop-in program.  CPR and First Aid certified preferred but not required.  Salary will be $7.25/hour.  Hours for staff will be Monday thru Thursday from 4:00-9:00 PM and Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM.  For more information or to pick up an application please stop by the recreation front desk today.

Grins -N- Giggles

This will be a service offered to anyone wishing to use the facility or attend a fitness class on-site and needing a safe place to bring their children.  We are looking for donations of toys and infant items.  For more information please contact the Huxley Parks and Recreation Department at 515-597-2515 or stop by the front-desk. 

Lighten Up Iowa Program

Join communities around Iowa in a 100 day wellness program designed to help Iowans live a healthier lifestyle by promoting physical activity and proper nutrition. Family Kickball Night

Join us every Monday night at 7 pm for family kickball. Games will be played in the 3 C's gym. This program is free to 3 C's members and $6 for a family of up to five for non-members. Join us for a good night of fun!

New Member Orientation Program

New members will now be part of a great program to introduce you to all that the Huxley Parks and Recreation Department and 3 C's can offer. New members will receive a facility tour to help answer any questions, be able to attend one group fitness class free, and visit with a personal trainer regarding our personal training programs. We value our members and want to continually provide opportunties for our members to receive the best of what we can offer. Sign-up now!

Open Gym Time for Parents & Toddlers

The 3 C's Gym is open Monday through Friday from 9-Noon for parents and their toddlers to come and play! Cost is $.50 per child. Call 597-2515 if you have questions about this new program!
