Volunteers

This page is to say thanks to all our wonderful volunteers.

Victor Neilson has lived in Huxley since 1983. He has served on the Library Board of Trustees and has been volunteering at the Huxley Public Library since we opened at our current locatoin in 2003. In fact, Victor was one of the volunteers that helped us move in! He has also served at the Clothes Pantry, the local Arts Council (now defunct), and as a GRIP mentor (Great Relationships In Pairs) in the Ballard school system for the past 9 years with the same young man. At the library, Victor helps us by covering and laminating new books.

Judy Cooper lives in Huxley and also helps cover new books and helps us maintain our half.com store by adding inventory to the system.

Pam Hanks has lived in the rural Huxley area since 1996. She is also active in our Friends group, Prairie Fest Bingo & Bake Sale, Business Fair and Children's Programs. She also takes care of the plants and loves to clean and dust.

On behalf of the staff and patrons of the library, Mike Hanks would like to take a moment to recognize and thank all of our wonderful volunteers. I would also like to thank the Friends of the Huxley Public Library for all of their fundraising efforts and support; and last but not least, the Huxley Public Library Board of Trustees without whom we could not function. The Huxley Library staff is able to accomplish and provide so much more to our patrons with the help and kindness of these individuals.
