Mission & Purpose:
The Board of Adjustment is independent of the city and reviews petitions from citizens seeking exceptions to the building code or to the city zoning. This board works much like a court and their decisions are considered final at the local level. Any appeal of the Board of Adjustments decisions goes to county district court.
